Request for Proposal (RFP) for Sydney Metro (SM) Cyber Infrastructure and Services Support (CISS).
Project goals
The Cyber Security Operations Centre (CSOC) is a function of the Sydney Metro CyberSecurity Team, to provide cyber threat monitoring, visibility, intelligence, and notification to Metro Trains Sydney (MTS). The CSOC monitors critical asset via security logs from the operation rail lines through CSOC’s Security Information and Event Monitoring tool – Splunk.
This RFP relates to the procurement for a total contract term of 6 years (i.e. 2 year initial term + 2 x 2-year extension options) to provide infrastructure monitoring, administration (including via on-site activities) and escalation services for the SMCSOC. The successful organisation will have demonstrated experience as a managed service provider, including proactive business optimisation engagement. The key requirements are to support the 4 x key elements under Cyber Security Operations Centre Part 2 - Infrastructure:
a) Platform
b) Server Operating Systems (OS)
c) Splunk
d) Delinea Secret Server.
