WSLHD Pest Control and Termite Management Tender

This tender is to provide a comprehensive General Pest Control and Timber Pest Control service throughout the facilities of Western Sydney LHD (WSLHD).

Project goals

The procurement of Pest and Termite Control services supports NSW Health’s commitment to safe, high-quality and patient‑centred care. Effective pest management reduces the risk of disease, contamination and infrastructure damage, while ensuring compliance with Work Health and Safety, Environmental Protection and Public Health legislation. By adopting Integrated Pest Management (IPM) practices, the approach minimises environmental impact and aligns with NSW Health’s sustainability objectives. This procurement also ensures operational continuity across all facilities and delivers long‑term value for money through consistent service delivery and preventative maintenance.

Scope

The purpose of this procurement is to provide a comprehensive General Pest Control and Timber Pest Control service throughout the facilities of Western Sydney LHD (WSLHD). The service will include all buildings on the main campus of each facility/site and all off-site locations. This Request for Tender (RFT) is also to assist WSLHD identify a service provider to deliver Pest Control Services that is overall best value for money and fit for purpose. The pest control service is also to include rodent control and management.

Western Sydney Local Health District (WSLHD) manages over 200 buildings in the Western Sydney region. Understanding that termites are economically the largest natural disaster that damages buildings and structures in Australia, WSLHD, as part of its strategy to minimise the risk of termite attack requires the provision of termite inspection services to these structures as part of this procurement.
