Tender Description
This contract is for the raw water supply to the Te Aroha Water Treatment Plant is supplied by 3 stream intakes and a river intake at Rolleston Street. In recent months we have had pressure from Waikato Regional Council (WRC) to fully comply with the water take consents for Te Aroha raw water supplies. The consent requires Matamata-Piako District Council (MPDC) to turn off all stream supplies when the Waihou River flow is below 24.85cumecs. This leaves the river intake as the only intake available to supply raw water to the Te Aroha Water Treatment Plant.
