The Australian Government is inviting applications via a restricted process to apply for funding to deliver events and programs under the Supporting Multicultural Communities - Events and Programs Round 1 grant opportunity from 2025–26 to 2027–28.
The purpose of the grant is to fulfil the 2025 federal election commitments to support multicultural communities. It contributes to the achievement of Program 2.5 - Multicultural Affairs and Citizenship within Outcome 2 of the Department of Home Affairs’ Portfolio Budget Statement.
The objective of the grant activity is to provide direct support to multicultural community organisations to deliver much needed community initiatives such as cultural celebrations, event, festivities and targeted programs that foster connection, inclusion and growth.
Eligibility:
To be eligible to receive a grant, you must be one of the invited organisations and have received an invitation to apply for this grant opportunity.
