2026 Lung Foundation Australia - Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD) Australia Research Fellowship

Lung Foundation Australia and PCD Australia are pleased to invite applications for the Lung Foundation – PCD Australia Grant valued at $30,000 + GST over a 3-year period.

PCD Australia (PCDA) is a charitable not-for-profit association incorporated in Australia, whose focus is on research and services to support those living with Primary Ciliary Dyskinesia (PCD), their families and carers. Research is vital in the ongoing pursuit of a cure, ensuring effective treatments for all people living with PCD, enhancing current treatments and helping reduce the burden of disease, with ongoing research success and treatment advances to enable people to live longer with PCD.

The Lung Foundation – PCD Australia Grant is designed to encourage and support applicants interested in pursuing a research higher degree (PhD, Masters or equivalent) in the field of PCD research. It's goal is to build research capacity in the Australian PCD research specialist community. For this grant, projects that addresses management of the burden of disease (including treatment adherence, self-management, other), diagnosis and/or aging with PCD (co-morbidities, mental health, other) is of particular interest. Applications addressing topics of interest in the paediatric or adult populations are both welcome.

This scholarship is administered through a collaboration between PCD Australia and the Lung Foundation Australia.
