Tender Description
Development of modelling scenarios to support decarbonisation pathways that show how NSW can meet emissions reduction targets for 2030, 2035 and 2050, including sectoral breakdown and economic impacts
Project goals
Develop economy-wide pathways to guide NSW's decarbonisation in-line with legislated emissions reduction targets, assisting with the commission's progress monitoring and recommendations to government.
Scope
Modelling services to design decarbonisation pathway scenarios for NSW.
The project includes two stages.
- Stage 1 involves delivery of an initial pathway scenario and associated economic impacts by Q2 2025.
- Stage 2 involves delivery of multiple pathways scenarios, associated consultations and detailed economic impact assessment by latest December 2027.
