Perinatal Mental Health and Addiction community-based packages of care for MidCentral, Capital, Coast, Hutt and Wairarapa

Health NZ are looking for local providers that will co-ordinate and/or deliver perinatal mental health packages of care for whānau living in MidCentral, Capital, Coast, Hutt Valley and Wairarapa districts.

We are seeking services that can achieve the following outcomes:

• Deliver flexible perinatal mental health packages of care to meet the diverse needs and preferences of whānau.
•  Advocate for the right of hapū māmā, babies and children to be treated as tapu, with safety, dignity and respect.
•  Build whānau to reach their full potential and aspirations as caregivers
•  Offer consistent, connected care to whanau by working collaboratively
•  Offer early, holistic support at home and in the community, reducing the likelihood of acute mental health interventions.

The expected initial contract term is up to 3 years and potential extension terms of 2 + 2 years.
