This contract is for the upgrade of the Key Summit Track (Routeburn Track), Fiordland.

The Contract Works include the following elements:

• Reinstating track formation by resurfacing with local gravel

• Reinstating existing drainage features and installing new drainage features

• Upgrading existing boardwalk features and installing new boardwalk features

• Removal of organic material and other detritus from the track surface

• Installation of seating and an interpretation panel structures at the summit

• Installation of seating at the Routeburn Track/ Key Summit Track junction

• Replacing the existing toilet with a flyable DOC Alpine Containment Toilet System
