Tamworth Regional Council (TRC) is seeking tenders from suitably experienced contractors for Tender No. T021-2026 for the Civil Construction of Road Safety Infrastructure at the Sports and Entertainment Precinct in Tamworth, NSW.
This tender is a Quality Assurance contract with method of payment being Lump Sum.
The scope of work comprises civil construction of pedestrian infrastructure including raised pedestrian crossings, shared path, removal of materials, construction of retaining wall, signage and linemarking.
The location is a high-profile precinct which can be very busy when events are held. Traffic and pedestrian management is particularly important, as well as scheduling activities to work in with events held in the Precinct. Works need to be completed by 13 March 2026.
Tenderers must attend the compulsory pre-tender briefing meeting and optional site inspections for bridges to be considered for this tender.
The briefing meeting and site inspection will be held on:
- When: 11.00am AEST, Wednesday 3 September 2025
- Where: Exterior forecourt of the Australian Equine Livestock and Events Centre, Jack Smyth Drive, Hillvue NSW.
Council is not bound to accept the lowest or any submission and anyone who directly or indirectly canvasses support from an elected member or servant of the Council will be disqualified.
