Tender Description
If you own an electric vehicle (EV), you can apply for up to $1,000 to buy and install a charger at your residential property.
Applications are now open and will be administered on a first-come, first-served basis. The scheme will be reviewed in late 2025 and may be amended to achieve the NT Government’s objectives.
Who can apply
You can apply if:
- You own the home where the charger will be installed
- You own at least one EV that will be kept (garaged) at that home
- You haven’t already received funding for a charger for this EV
Before you apply
Read the programs guidelines available at Electric Vehicle Charger (Residential and Business) Grants Scheme | NT.GOV.AU. The guidelines include details and restrictions of what will be supported through the program.
Chargers must be installed by an approved service provider. Search and select an approved provider using the Supplier list | GrantsNT Administration.
After you apply
Your application will not be assessed unless you provide all supporting documents. Additional requests for information may occur.
The Department will assess your application and notify you of the outcome.
