Tender Description
The Department of Fire and Emergency Services (DFES) is a Western Australian State Government department, legislated responsibility for emergency management across a range of hazards including bushfire, cyclone, severe storm, flood, structure fire and hazardous materials (HAZMAT). DFES is supported by more than 1800 staff and 27,000 volunteers, with DFES’s organisational structure comprising 4 Commands: Operations, Strategy and Emergency Management, the Rural Fire Division, and Corporate Services. DFES’ Information and Communications Technology Directorate provides support across three key areas of focus, Application Services, Infrastructure Services, and ICT Security and Resilience.
For this Request, the Department is seeking the services of suitably qualified and experienced Contractor(s) to provide services under three (3) categories:
- Category 1: Application Services;
- Category 2: Infrastructure Services; and
- Category 3: Security and Resilience Services.
To support DFES operations, the Contractor(s) will be required to provide a mixture of Base Services and Project Services in each category.
Online Briefing
An online briefing session will be held on 19 Jan, 2026 10:30 AM.
- A non-mandatory briefing to Respondents will be conducted at:
- Date: Monday, 19th January 2026
- Time: 10.30 AM to 11.30 AM, Western Australia
- Location: Microsoft Team meeting (online)
Attendance is at the prospective Respondent’s own expense. Prospective Respondents should note that the above briefing session is the only nominated time set aside. No individual briefings will be undertaken.
Prospective Respondents are requested to register their attendance via email no later than 4:00 pm (AWST) on Thursday 15th January 2026 to nams.passmore-bush@dohw.wa.gov.au. Prospective Respondents are to provide the name, job title, company, and email address for each attendee registered.
