Expressions of interest - Food Vendors 2024 Meelup BeachFest: Wednesday 20 November 2024

⁠⁠⁠The South West Leavers Planning Group is seeking expressions of interest from food vendors to operate a food stall at the 2024 Meelup BeachFest.

An important component of the Leavers harm minimisation strategy is the availability of wholesome food choices at affordable prices. Note: local community groups and locally registered food vendors are preferred for this event.

Dates: Wednesday 20 November 2024

Time: 11am – 3pm

Location: Meelup Beach, Naturaliste

Note: this site is unpowered so food vendors must provide their own power and infrastructure

An expression of interest by your local community group/business is to include:

• The name of your community group/ business;
• Your proposed menu with prices;
• If successful, your community group/business will need to comply with the City’s Environmental Health food safety requirements and WA Government COVID safety regulations (if applicable).
• If successful, your community group/business will need to provide a copy of your Food Act 2008 certificate of registration and valid public liability insurance.

In addition;

• All volunteers are required to:
• Be a minimum of 18 years of age.
• Be prepared to sign a Code of Conduct
• Be prepared to complete a National Police Clearance check
• Wear identifying staff/volunteer clothing and ID or name badge
