Tender Description
Overview
The Bulli Creek Solar Project is stage one of the Bulli Creek Energy Park with a total capacity of 960 MWDC. The project incorporates over 1.5 million bifacial solar modules distributed across more than 14,000 independent rows. The infrastructure includes over 51,000 meters of internal roads and more than 204,000 steel foundation piles. The project features 232 units of 4.2 MVA, integrated skids with inverters, MV transformers, and MV switchgear. The substation includes four 250 MVA main power transformers, with energy being transmitted via a 3.5 km, 330kV dual circuit overhead line from the substation to the Powerlink switchyard.
PCL's Tendering Process is based on a staged pricing submission approach:
1. Phase 1 Tenders:
*Indicative baseline pricing submission
2. Phase 2 Tenders: June 24, 2024 - July 11, 2024
*Geotechnical information update
3. Phase 3 Tenders: August 14, 2024 - September 4, 2024
*30% Design Development pricing update
4. Final Pricing / Negotiations: October 18, 2024 - July 30, 2025
*Award pricing, will proceed as appropriate final design information comes available
*Purpose of Phases 1-3 is to inform overall project budget development and align on preferred partners for execution.
*Final Pricing / Negotiations will occur in parallel to design development and will form the basis of contract between PCL and selected project partners.
