Natural Disaster Recovery 2022 HW11 Pooks Lookout Slip - Slope Stabilisation Works.
The scopes of work generally comprise of the following but not limited to:
• Establishment to site including the required amenities and facilities (including drinking water) for the contractor’s use, inclusive of ongoing housekeeping requirements.
• Construction of all designed works excluding that specifically excluded in Clause 3. This is expected to include (but is not limited to):
o Establishment of soil and water and other environmental management measures.
o Localised de-vegetation and scaling from cut face and embankment face.
o Arranging of controls for staging of works on downslope and upslope of highway.
o Excavations and haulage of material on the upslope.
o Minor regrading including haulage of material on the downslope.
o Installation and testing of suitability Soil Nails upslope and downslope.
o Installation and testing of production Soil Nails upslope and downslope.
o Installation of horizontal drains.
o Forming and installation of capping beam.
o Application of strip drains and reinforced shotcrete facing upslope and downslope.
o Installation of flexible facing connected to soil nails upslope.
o Construction of a shear key at crest of slope. Please refer to document for more details.
