Council is seeking submission from suitably qualified and accredited parties to support the delivery of the new Devonport Stadium project.
The Devonport City Council has adopted a 2-stage approach to delivery of the construction works for the project. Under this model a preferred contractor will be recommended and awarded Works Under Contract (WUC) in two stages:
Stage 1, the Early Contractor Advice Works, will continue through to completion of design documentation. The successful contractor will work exclusively with the Project Team to complete construction documentation and have the exclusive opportunity to provide a main works proposal.
Stage 2, the construction of the Main Works, is an optional stage which will proceed if the Project Team accepts the Contractor's Main Works Proposal by issuing a notice to proceed under clause 2.1B(c) of the attached contract.
In the event the Contractor's Main Works Proposal is not accepted, the Principal may return to market and Tender the works under a traditional fixed lump sum arrangement, or consider other project delivery options.
