Tender Description
Blacktown City Council is seeking tenders from suitably qualified and experienced person(s), entities or firms for sports field turfing and field renovations services. The initial period of the Contract will be for 3 years with options in favour of Council for a further period of 2 x 1-year extensions subject to satisfactory performance and Council requirements. Council may select a single or a panel of contractors for the services.
Scope of works
Tenderer must submit a tender either for Part A, Part B or both. The tender submission shall indicate clearly the submitted option in the returnable schedule.
Part A – Turfing
Supply of turf only or supply, deliver and lay turf including washed turf. This part includes the activities for strip, level and prepare worn and damaged surfaces. For any area greater than 5000 sq. m, establishment activities including topdressing and mowing needs to be undertaken.
Part B – Field renovations
Soil improvement activities such as aeration, rotary hoeing, stripping, cultivation and over-sowing of the sports field turf. This part also includes laser levelling of turfed surfaces and supply, delivery & application of top dressing materials.
