Supply and delivery of bulk diesel fuel

⁠⁠⁠Barunga West Council invites tenders from Tenderers for the supply and delivery of approximately 136,000 litres per annum of bulk diesel fuel (the Goods). The Council will enter into a three-year Contract for the Purchase of Goods with the successful Tenderer.

1. Bulk fuel delivery: Tenderers must be able to deliver approximately 126,000 litres of diesel fuel per annum to:

• 1 x static tank (4,000 litres) at Port Broughton depot – weekly or as required
• 1 x static tank (4,000 litres) at Bute depot – as required
• 1 x trailer-mounted mobile tank (4,000 litres) at its current location (which could change) – as required
• 1 x trailer-mounted mobile tank (1,000 litres) at its current location (which could change) – as required

      Council will enter a three-year agreement for the purchase and supply of bulk diesel with the preferred supplier.

      Storage tanks: Tenderers must be able to provide a 4,000 litre static tank at both the Port Broughton and Bute depots.

2. Retail fuel cards: Council uses approximately 10,000 litres of diesel fuel per annum via purchases made at services stations throughout South Australia. Tenderers must be able to supply a list of service stations where their retail fuel cards can be used to pay for fuel.

Council to consider a three-year agreement for a price discount in using a supplier’s retail fuel card for its fleet of vehicles (diesel).

Tenderers can quote for either or both types of fuel supply.
