Forest Harvest – Water Supply Land

⁠⁠⁠Tauranga City Council (TCC) is currently looking to harvest the Waterworks and Jacks Lane forests, located on the Waiorohi stream adjacent to the Oropi water treatment plant and the raw water intake. The total area of forest to harvest is approximately 30.5ha split 16 ha at Waterworks and 14.5ha at Jacks Lane. The Waterworks Forest is home to the Oropi mountain bike park and is a popular recreational facility.

Proposals are sought for the delivery of the services which include engagement with TCC and stakeholders, planning, and procurement of harvest operations and, advice, planning and procurement in relation to the replanting of the Waterworks Forest.
