For Sale- Sailing Craft T2 Hobie Cat Items Currently Located on Home Island (Kampong Baru Foreshore)

The Shire of Cocos (Keeling) Islands invites the submission of tenders, on an "as is, where is" basis, for the purchase of a number of sailing craft items currently located on Home Island (Kampong Baru Foreshore).

Scope

The items offered for sale, with their noted reserve prices, are:

• Item 1: T2 Hobie Cat Number 2, including rigging, sail and jib. Qty 1. Condition: used, as pictured. Reserve price: $2,500
• Item 2: T2 Hobie Cat Number 5, including rigging, sail and jib. Qty 1. Condition: used, as pictured. Reserve price: $2,500
• Item 3: T2 Hobie Cat Number 3, including rigging, sail and jib. Qty 1. Condition: used, as pictured. Reserve price: $2,500
• Item 4: T2 Hobie Cat Number 6, including rigging, sail and jib. Qty 1. Condition: used, as pictured. Reserve price: $2,500
• Item 5: T2 Hobie Cat Jib 1. Qty 1. Condition: brand new, as pictured. Reserve price: $700
• Item 6: Hobie Cat Number 1. Qty 1. Condition: used, not in working condition. Reserve price: $0
• Item 7: Hobie Cat Number 4. Qty 1. Condition: used, not in working condition. Reserve price: $0

The items will be sold to the highest bidder.

Instructions to Tenderers

Bidders are recommended to inspect the items before placing a bid. To arrange a viewing, contact the Coordinator Community Development at cdc@cocos.wa.gov.au.

• Tenders must be submitted on the Council's Tender Bid Form, with all sections completed. Tenders not submitted on the Tender Bid Form will not be considered.
• Bids must be submitted to tenders@cocos.wa.gov.au by 4pm Tuesday 31st of May.
• The subject line of the email must clearly state 'Tender for Sale Items'.
• Tenders received after the stated closing time and date will not be considered.
• Council reserves the right to reject any or all tenders.
• Successful bidders will be notified by 4pm Thursday 9th June.
• Bids must be paid to the Shire prior to pickup.
• Items must be picked up prior to 1pm Monday 13th June.
