Nework for Learning (N4L) is improving the security services delivered to New Zealand schools in collaboration with the Ministry of Education (MoE). Key to this effort is a Security Logging & Monitoring Platform that will support the ability to capture the security logs and events produced by both on premise and cloud-based systems. This requires the ability to ingest security logs from a range of different technologies and retain these for an extended period to support cybersecurity analysis and forensic investigations.
N4L is looking for a credible supplier that has a good track record in the implementation and tuning of Security Logging & Monitoring Platforms. Your submission must clearly articulate your support for N4L’s core logging, storage, and retention requirements for the ingestion of significant data streams and distil this to a workable intelligence stream that can be managed by N4L Security Services Team.
This is an invitation to suitably qualified suppliers to submit a Registration of Interest (ROI) for the Security Logging and Monitoring Platform contract opportunity. It is the first step in a multi-step procurement process. Following evaluation, shortlisted Respondent/s will be invited to submit a full proposal in response to a Request for Proposals (RFP). This document deals only with the first step i.e., the ROI process.
