The Riverina and Murray Joint Organisation (RAMJO) is seeking experienced person/s, or an organisation to submit a quotation for the delivery of a regional resource recovery infrastructure feasibility study to determine locations across the region for key infrastructure in the RAMJO region.
A feasibility study and review will look at current waste and resource recovery infrastructure and projected future needs for all member councils and include:
- identification gaps in capacity of infrastructure
- evaluation of the potential for new facilities or infrastructure, and
- enhancing existing systems to support the development of infrastructure to aligns with regional growth, resource recovery targets and circular economy principles.
The review will consider types of; infrastructure, locations, material quantities, transport and collection mechanisms to create greater scales of economy. With many member councils bordering on the Murray River, Victorian facility capacity or capability may form part of the review
