Supply and Installation of a New Security Fence at Nana Lane Depot

ABOUT THIS REQUEST FOR TENDER (RFT):

Council is seeking tenders from appropriately qualified and experienced contractors of fencing for City contract CON00787 Supply and Installation of a New Security Fence at Nana Lane Depot. The City anticipates this contract will be awarded to a single successful contractor who will be required to enter into a legally binding contract a copy of which is attached in the RFT document.

ENQUIRIES:

RFT enquiries and clarifications should be directed to Mr Andrew Burke Section Leader Open Space Services via the online forum by the close-off date and time which is 10am on Friday 8 May 2026.

SUBMISSIONS:

Completed RFT submissions must be submitted in soft copy via the electronic tender box (which is Councils method for submissions) using the attached MS Word Att1 Additional Tender Schedules document provided. Respondents will receive a Successful Submission Receipt, timed and dated upon completion. Submissions made in hard copy format, or sent via email, fax or other media will not be considered.

CLOSING DATE AND TIME:

RFT submissions must be prior to 10am on Wednesday 13 May 2026, and submissions must be fully uploaded by this time. Please be aware that your documents (and those of other tenderers being uploaded immediately prior to the Tender closing date/time) might adversely affect document upload times. Tenderers, therefore, are strongly advised to allow adequate document upload time prior to the Tender closing time.

Council is not bound to accept the lowest priced tender or all or any part of a tender, and reserves the right to conduct the RFT process and select the successful respondent as it sees most advantageous. Council staff other than the contact listed in the RFT document are unable to respond to verbal enquiries in relation to the proposal. Canvassing of Councillors or Council staff regarding this RFT will render a proponents bid invalid.
