Tender Description
Cloncurry Shire Council seeks to undertake road remediation works as part of its 2026 Flood Program. This tender package contains road remediation works approved by the Queensland Reconstruction Authority (QRA) on Chatsworth-Phosphate Road, Duchess-Mt Isa Road and Phosphate-Dajarra Road.
The work is more particularly described in the Scope documents identified at Part 5 of this Request for Tender, but includes (without limitation) the following activities:
- Site mobilisation and setting up the works;
- Traffic Management, Site Setout, Dilapidation and Progress Photos;
- Medium Formation Grading;
- Heavy Formation Grading;
- Heavy Formation Grading (incorporating imported material);
- Gravel Resheeting.
Tenders to be awarded in late April 2026
Practical Completion to be achieved by 2 October 2026.
Indicatively, Commencement of Works to be early May 2026
