Resource Recovery and Transfer Station Services

Livingstone Shire Council invites suitably qualified and experienced Contractors to submit a Tender for the operation of Council’s Resource Recovery and Transfer Station Services.

The Contract covers the full operation of the Yeppoon Landfill Transfer Station and Reuse Market, along with the supervised Transfer Stations at Emu Park, Cawarral, The Caves, Byfield and Marlborough. Services include operation of the gatehouse and weighbridge, customer service and waste-segregation assistance, resource-recovery activities, Reuse Market management (via a social enterprise delivery model), bulk stockpile management, money handling, housekeeping, and compliance with environmental, safety and regulated-waste requirements.

The Contractor must provide all personnel, equipment, systems and management necessary to ensure safe, efficient and continuous operation of all sites, supported by a detailed Mobilisation Plan and staffing levels aligned with Opening Hours.

The Contract will be delivered under a Services Agreement, as detailed in the Tender Documents.
