Engineering, Ergonomics, and Occupational Hygiene Services Panel. (Specialist Consulting Services Panel)

WorkSafe Victoria currently has three Specialist Consulting Services Panels in the disciplinary areas of:

1. Engineering,

2. Ergonomics and Human Factors (Ergonomics), and

3. Occupational Hygiene.

Suitably qualified suppliers with specialisation in engineering, ergonomics and occupational hygiene are needed to:

•  Provide expert advice, conduct analysis and apply contemporary technical information to enable WorkSafe staff, including Inspectors and Investigators to take appropriate compliance action,
•  Provide subject matter expertise to various stakeholders within WorkSafe to enable the development of health and safety initiatives,
•  Provide expertise to the development of legislation, standards, guidance materials, operational policies and procedures, and
•  Provide subject matter expertise to collaborative research initiatives.

The Panel will not provide expertise for projects or expertise focused on:

•  psychological health, safety, and wellbeing,
•  forensic investigations, or
•  expert witness in support of WorkSafe’s Enforcement Group during investigations and prosecutions.
