Australian Grand Prix - Internal Traffic Management

The Scope of Work is to provide Internal Traffic Management services for Formula 1® Australian Grand Prix, to be held at Albert Park in Melbourne.

•  Provide fully accredited traffic controllers as per all applicable legislation and requirements in Victoria
• Provide all of the necessary equipment including, but not limited to, signage, PPE, motor vehicles, cones, bollards, barriers, VMS Boards and any other items necessary to carry out the agreed works in line with applicable legislation
•  Provide of the necessary qualified and ticketed labour as per the applicable legislations in Victoria to carry out the required traffic control services each day and night as agreed with the Superintendent
•  Supply, deliver, place, fill (if required and maintain water levels), maintain and pick-up water-filled barriers, bollards and other traffic management equipment for varying periods of time at various locations
• Various traffic management around Albert Park including restricted closure and full closure of Lakeside Drive, traffic management for installation of Overpasses, gantry’s, and on-call emergency traffic management;
•  The design of traffic treatments when emergency traffic management is required (where the treatment is not covered in an existing drawing);
• Ensuring Park safety through daily traffic management audits, actioning improvements or maintenance as required, or if directed by the Superintendent
• Provision of a standby crew during the Event period for traffic and pedestrian management, and traffic treatment maintenance; and
• Provision for extra traffic management resources if required by the Superintendent.
