WA Health Data Platform Provision of Project Manager

Western Australian Health Data Platform (WA HDP) Program was initiated in 2021/2022 to develop the foundation for a scalable and extensible enterprise data platform that will provide a common source of truth for reporting across the WA Health system, and improve experiences for consumers, through the power of data.

The program will provide the foundations for a scalable, enterprise-level data platform, to provide new data capabilities and enable benefits across WA Health, through various streams of work.  The Data Ingestion and Modelling (DIM) project has reprioritised Data Ingestion efforts, necessitating a shift in focus for the Program team. Some ingestion tasks have been deferred to a backlog, with resources reallocated and repurposed accordingly.

As a result of the above challenges, milestones and deliverables associated to the scope items require revised dates, which will result in extension of the project end dates. The Program cannot be handed over to BAU without the completion of the current scope of works. These changes have been presented in a Change Request and approved by the WA HDP PCG and PCB. A Senior Project Manager will play a critical role in ensuring that the DIM Project is delivered within scope, on budget, and successfully closed out with all objectives met.
