Tender Description
The DC system is designed to provide uninterrupted power to the station control system and to all other DC supplied equipment in the converter station. The cubicles hold a complete DC-system with rectifier, battery monitoring and distribution and a complete uninterrupted AC-system with inverter(s) and electronic switch (static switch), fed from the DC-system and with back-up from the AC-distribution.
Station 1 - Converter Station Tasmania (Heybridge- S1)
Station 2 - Converter Station Victoria (Hazelwood- S2)
Technical data :
The DC System shall have the following main technical data.
1. Nominal voltage: 110V DC
2. Max. voltage : 121 V
3. Min. voltage : 93,5 V
4. Battery Type - OPzV Valve regulated lead-acid batteries
5. Battery Charger Power supply - 3 x 400 V AC, 10%
